I'm Danny Martin and I've been a professional snowboard instructor for over 20 years. I was born and raised in Devils Lake, North Dakota, where I developed my life long passion for the mountains and the outdoors. I currently live and work in Avon, Colorado. For seven years before the turn of the century, I was a snowboard instructor for Vail Resorts at Beaver Creek, CO., and also traveled in the summer months to the southern hemisphere to teach in Australia and Chile.
I wrote the book NO FALL Snowboarding published by Simon & Schuster in 2005. I also have a patent for a snowboard specific training device called the Agility Arrow. I designed it to be used indoors to help train your body to use snowboard specific balancing movements prior to arriving at the mountain.
Over the past decade I've been able to snowboard over two hundred days a year! I've taught people to snowboard around North America and the world, including Austria, Serbia, Slovenia, Greece, Italy, France, Switzerland, Chile, the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco, the Himalayas of India, and Australia.
